zumthor speech in 2009
As I get older, I think I got some kind of a… I’m sort of secure that I can do this—be a boy, and in being a boy and dreaming, doing something. “When I like it, you will like it, too, because I’m not so special.” Now comes this moment when I get this prize. And I think now, and I start to feel that dreaming becomes even easier. Maybe I can. You help me to go on dreaming even stronger.

There are a lot of sounds and noises around us.
This tabel has a mechanism like a marimba. When you put objects on various points of it, you have hear various sounds.
For example, you hear a high tone when you knock a short wooden bar and you hear a low tone when you knock a long wooden bar.
Having dinner on this table will be transformed into a marimba playing experience.

[We come from nature and we return to nature; we are conceived and born; we live and die; we rot or burn and vanish into the earth... I did not exist before my time and I will no longer exist after my time. But in my time, I belong to the process of life on this planet; for a little while I am part of the organism of human beings, animals and plants that exists on this planet and that passes life on.]

another layer and the charged void
inspired by alison and peter smithson, the existing layer of void is transformed into a charged identity of movement.
